Visit the remote Kwaio Tribe

August 1, 2019Who we are and what we are about
After staying in the Solomon Islands for an extended time and with some of the last Kastom chiefs in the inland of Malaita,
we decided to set up this homepage in order to reach out to people interested in visiting the Kwaio - which was those chiefs idea.
What we try to do here is simply to help interested people to access this remote and beautiful part of the Solomon Islands. We witness tribes everywhere in the world losing their culture and it will get much harder in the future to visit people like the Kwaio and experience a living culture in its genuine environment.
After staying for over a decade with indigenous people we know quite well how to organize such trips and are able to arrange or at least provide useful information regarding a trip to the Kwaio.
Joining us on a trip may be possible as well and would make things much easier.
It also must be said, that we have no interest in sharing too much personal information on this site, hence anyone who is interested in our travels may contact us privately.
"Lastly, there are only very few people nowadays on a similar path as we are and there isn't really a place to connect with each other, anywhere. We have quite some knowledge when it comes to remote indigenous people in Asia and the Pacific, but would also love to connect with others having visited different tribal areas. Therefore feel free to get in touch with us if you are interested in an exchange."

Dear Sir,
Firstly let me indroduce myself my name is James and I am from the United Kingdom. I came a cross a few of your YouTube videos abouts tribes and their way of life. I found them very interesting to watch, it got me thinking I would like to go and see the tribesmen and experience the tribal lifestyle. I came across a link to your website from your YouTube page. After reading everything you have written on your website. If its possible I would like to go on a trip with you and your family to see the indigenous tribe.
Kind Regards
James
Hi James, just get back at us via email 😉
Dear Sir or madam,
I am writing to you because I’ve rewatched your videos again on YouTube about your tribal adventures with different tribes. I wanted to know when you will be making the next documentaries about your tribual adventures.
Kind Regards
James.
